Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

Your day-to-day role will be varied and rewarding, focusing on the physical and emotional well-being of clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene, always promoting dignity and independence.
• Mobility Support: Safely assisting and supporting clients with mobility, using appropriate equipment like hoists and wheelchairs, and ensuring falls prevention.
• Nutritional Support: Preparing and serving meals and drinks, assisting with feeding where necessary, and monitoring dietary intake and hydration.

• Medication Assistance: Promptly and accurately prompting clients to take their prescribed medication (subject to training and competency assessment).
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and timely records of care provided, observations, and any changes in a client's condition, reporting concerns to senior staff.
• Domestic Tasks: Light domestic duties related to the client's immediate environment, such as bed making, tidying, and laundry.

Essential Requirements & Skills

To be successful in this Care Assistant role, you will need:
